What a great morning the Grade 5 and 6 students had working on the beginning of a new school project with our Mural artist Simon Dransfield! I can’t wait to see what unfolds!
(Word to self: Children and paint can be a dangerous combination, as pointed out by our resident hardworking handy man, who bemoaned the fact that we now have white footprints outside our art room door! Must remember to talk about how to remove paint quickly from unwanted surfaces!)
Next term is going to be very special for our Grade 5 and 6 students.
A young artist Simon Dransfield will be joining our classes and working with the students on a collaborative mural.
I have seen some of the work that Simon has done and I can’t wait to see what the children will create under the guidance of this amazing mentor!
Stay tuned and keep your eyes open for glimpses of our Artist in Residences handiwork!
